Got these questions from Cuffington.
1. What's the story behind the name of your blog?
~* I've had like 4 or 5 blogs before this and the only thing that made me not want to continue those was the blog's name. The fad before was those pa-cute blog names and I really don't want my blog to be one of those cuz... I dunno. It's just not me, I guess. I want to be inimitable when it comes to this kind of stuff. So there... I really have no idea how I came up with that name. I mean, it just popped in my head and I though, "Hey, that's a great name. Why not use it?" So there you go: AENSPEAKS.
2. Why did you start blogging in the first place?
~* Cuz it's fun and... it just makes things easier for me. I mean, you can't tell everyone everything at the same time, right? And it's really tiring to repeat the same story over and over to your friends -- I don't have the patience for that. So why not create a blog? That way, they'll know what you've been up to, the latest ish, yaddi yaddi yadda...
And it's also a great way to share your ideas with other people no matter the distance.
3. What is your best blogging experience? Your worst?
~* The best, I guess, would be... having this blog. It may not look as fabulous or glamorous as the other blogs I visit, but what the hey, right? It just feels great to be able to express yourself without rules. I can type whatever I want, post any pictures or vidoes without other peopel's consent.
I've also made new friends like Mary and 'anonymous'... they're like my most loyal blog readers, you know.
I don't think I have any "worst experience". People may leave comments like my blog is boring and stuff, but I really don't give a damn. They can say whatever they want to say... I'm not forcing them to visit my blog in the first place, right?
The fact that people visit my blog is compliment enough for me.
4. What do you think will happen to your blog in 2008?
~* Aenspeaks will be Aenspeaks: the Fashion Blog, the latest celebrity gossip, stories about my life... nothing will change. I'm thinking of adding other whatchamacallits, but I still have to think about it.
I'm pretty much satisfied with the way my blog looks right now, so there wouldn't be any layout changes.
But I foresee myself getting a call from Uncle Karl, asking me to model for Chanel; being one of the Victoria's Secret Angels; getting famous and getting paid for blogging... oh yeah, talk about BIG DREAMS. But who knows, right? Maybe someday, in another lifetime, it'll come true.

Let us all pray for the eternal repose of Shu Uemura.
He died last January 11 because of pneumonia.
