There are no certain things in life. There's always change. We sleep, we wake up, we cry and get hurt, we smile, we laugh, we meet someone new, we fall in love, and then we fall out of love. It sucks whenever the last part happens. Why can't we just fall in love and stay in love forever? Why do we have to cry and get hurt? Why can't we just be happy?
Did you ever get that feeling that you're beyond happy and it couldn't get any better, only to find out that the gods of destiny are just preparing you for something big. Something that will hurt you so much you'd wish that you were born without any emotions... without any feelings...
But if you don't have any emotions, how can you feel love? How can you experience one of the best things in life without feeling it? How can you fall in love without putting your whole heart and soul into it?
I guess that's the risk we all have to take. Falling in love requires a sacrifice that no amount of physical pain can ever match: EMOTIONAL PAIN. When we get hurt, we lose our identity. We lose our essence. We lose that thing in us that only love can bring out. We lose interest on everything. We try to detach ourselves from everything that's happening around us. We try our best not to exist so as not to feel the pain. We try not to care.
But can we really do this? How long can we keep isolating ourselves from the rest of the world? How long can we keep ourselves hidden from the harsh reality that you're alone and he's never coming back?
Wouldn't it be nice if there's a rule book for love? If there's a lesson for Love101. That way, you wouldn't take love as an emotion. Just something you encounter everyday. So that when the time comes that you're about to get hurt, you'll know what to do and you won't be able to feel the pain you're feeling right now...
If only these what if's and if only's can come true...
And if only life isn't unfair...
Then living in this world would be more bearable and definitely worth it.
