Anne Hathaway Biography
Anne Jacqueline Hathaway (born November 12, 1982) is an American film and stage actress. Hathaway made her acting debut in the 1999 television series Get Real, but her first prominent role was in Disney's family comedy The Princess Diaries (2001), which established her career. She continued to appear in Disney films in the next three years, and she had the lead roles in Ella Enchanted and The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement (both 2004). Hathaway took more creative control over her career in 2005 and co-starred in the adult-themed Havoc and Brokeback Mountain, both requiring extensive nude scenes, as well as The Devil Wears Prada (2006), in which she starred opposite Meryl Streep. That film has become the highest-grossing film of her career. Becoming Jane, in which she stars as Jane Austen, was released in 2007.
Hathaway's acting style has been compared to that of Judy Garland and Audrey Hepburn, and she cites Hepburn as her favorite actress and Streep as her idol. People magazine named her one of 2001's breakthrough stars and in 2006 she was listed as one of the world's 50 Most Beautiful People.
Hathaway was born in Brooklyn, New York to Gerald Hathaway, a lawyer, and Kate McCauley, an actress who inspired Hathaway to follow in her footsteps. She was not named after the wife of playwright William Shakespeare. She has an older brother, Michael, and a younger brother, Thomas. Hathaway has mainly Irish and French ancestry, with more distant German and Native American roots. She was raised in the Catholic religion with what she considers "really strong values", and wanted to be a nun during her childhood. However, at fifteen, she decided not to become a nun after learning that her brother Michael was gay. Although she was raised as a Catholic, she felt that she could not be part of a religion that disapproved of her brother's sexual orientation.
Hathaway was raised in Short Hills, New Jersey and graduated from Millburn High School where she was in many school plays. She spent several semesters studying at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York before transferring to New York University's Gallatin School of Individualized Study. She referred to her college enrollment as one of her best decisions because she enjoyed being with others who were trying to successfully "grow up". Hathaway was a member of the Barrow Group Theater Company's acting program and the first teenager admitted. She is a trained stage actress and has stated that she prefers appearing on stage to film roles.
Hathaway, a soprano, performed twice in 1998 with the All Eastern U.S. High School Honors Chorus at Carnegie Hall and has performed in plays at Seton Hall Prep in West Orange. Three days after performing at Carnegie Hall, she was cast in the short-lived 1999 television series Get Real.

Anyway... The earthquake this afternoon was pretty scary. I was at WZ with B when that happened; I was kind of engrossed with playing Pangya (yes, I play Pangya) when I felt a little dizzy. I thought I was just getting tired after hours of playing, until one of the guys shouted, "Uy Lumilindol!" I was totally scared that I almost hid under the table. Haha! Some of the guys there even made fun of it (the earthquake) cuz according to them, they weren't able to feel anything. (Pfft! Talk about being so numb! lol)
So there... better wrap this up cuz I have still some papers to do.. Buy!

She is well-known for her television and film roles in the Fox television series Party of Five, as Sarah Reeves, and also starred in I Know What You Did Last Summer and its sequel, as Julie James. Hewitt can currently be seen on the CBS television series Ghost Whisperer, as Melinda Gordon, a young newlywed who communicates with the dead.
Hewitt was born in Waco, Texas, to Herbert Daniel Hewitt, a technician, and Patricia Mae Shipp, a speech-language pathologist. Just a year after that, at a restaurant-dance hall, she entertained an audience with her version of "Help Me Make It Through the Night". Yes, I still think of him EVERYDAY. Whenever I’m alone or just doing nothing, he’s always the one I’m thinking of. Don’t get me wrong, I do think of B, but it’s just different cuz I see B for like everyday whereas my Dad… well, I haven’t seen him for like a decade now. And it just feels so… depressing.
I feel so miserable whenever my classmates talk about their latest trip with their Dads or about their family dinner and stuff like that. I can’t do anything but just listen to them cuz I don’t have a story to share… cuz my Dad’s not with us. I just try not to listen to them that much cuz the feeling of not seeing my Dad and not spending some time with him is just so awful. It’s like being born with no eyes, ears, arms, legs… even heart.
Even though I have lived more than half of my life without my Dad, I still get that feeling of being so incomplete. Like there’s something missing and no one could ever make you feel better except him.
I have stopped hoping for that day where he would come home and our family would be complete again. That dream is over and I’m sure that it would never be a reality; not now, not ever. There would never be a “And they lived happily ever after” for us. I just want to see my Daddy. I miss his hugs, his kisses, the way he calls me “baby girl”…
I just miss everything about him.
A letter for Daddy:Dear Daddy,
I’m pretty sure you won’t be able to read this, but I’m just hoping that someday, you would. I miss you. I guess that’s the reason why I’m writing you this. And I love you… I love you, Daddy. There was never a moment in my life where I stopped loving you. It’s normal for a daughter to get mad at her Dad, but it doesn’t mean that she doesn’t love him anymore. You’re still my Dad, and I would be forever grateful for that.
Dad, I’m sorry for getting mad at you. I was a kid back then and I don’t know the real story. But now, I know everything. I know it’s not your fault and you never meant to hurt Mum nor us. I forgive you, Dad, and I’m so sorry. I hope you forgive me, too.
I am longing for the day when I will see you again. The last time I saw you… I never showed it, but it was one of the happiest days in my life. It was pretty depressing when your boss called you and you told me that you have to go to work and I can’t stay at your place. I’m pretty excited to meet my other siblings, you know. I have accepted that a long time ago, Dad. They are your children, they’re my brothers and sisters, they’re a part of you, and I love them for that.
I thank God for choosing you to be my Dad. Though you’re not here, I know you love us. And I want you to know that we love you, too. I hope you’ll be the one to walk me and Kamille down the aisle. You missed my debut; I just wish you were there. I thought I would finally have my father-and-daughter dance. I hope you won’t miss Kam’s. It would mean so much to us, Dad. Don’t worry about what the others would say. I am here and I will fight for you.
I love you, Daddy. And I miss you. I hope to see you soon. I will be forever waiting for you.
Your daughter,
Kaye

If you live, work, or go to school at Taft, then you've probably heard of the United Christian Mission (or is it United Mission Church?) Whatever. According to them, they're an NGO that aids the less privileged families in Mindanao, and they're here in Luzon to solicit donations for the poor families. Take note: they don't accept food, clothing, or any material things... JUST MONEY. And they like do that everyday; a day wouldn't pass without me having an encouter with those people. You see, the thing is I don't only get to see them once, but twice (even thrice) a day!
Encounter 1: On my way to school
I usually ride a jeep on my to school that's why always see these people. They transfer from jeep to jeep, soliciting money. And they like have this speech and would even quote some verse from the Bible before asking for donations. Tsk. (Though shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain.). And after that they'll say something about us getting lucky in our endeavors cuz we gave them some money. Wth?
Encounter 2: Warzone
Grabe hanggang sa Warzone nakikita ko sila! What's worse is that they won't leave your side until you give them some money. If you like tell them, "Sorry ate, wala akong barya eh" they'll like say naman, "sige na po.. kahit 5 lang po sir/ma'am." What the??? Eh kung wala nga talaga eh, diba?
Encounter 3: On my way home.
Exactly like Encounter 1.
When I first came across these people, I wasn't hesitant to give them some money cuz it's like a charity or something. I even felt a bit disgusted over those people who just brush them off. But after 3 weeks of seeing them everyday, I just felt like giving them money is starting to become an obligation for me; like a part of my allowance is already allotted for them. I now understand why most passengers just pretend to be asleep or just don't mind them. I began asking myself if they really are an NGO and if the money ever reaches the poor families in Mindanao. It's like I would rather give alms to those beggars along Taft cuz at least I'm sure that they receive the money first-hand and not just through some organization that I haven't even heard of.
So, what do you guys think? Is it for real or is it just a sham?

"I want to thank my sponsors, Christian Jor (Dior) for my eyewear…"
Haha! Parang JORdano lng eh noh?
B and I met up at Warzone at around 10p, we stayed there for a while then went to school at like 12:20p. And yeah, we haven’t eaten lunch yet. So there… it was already a quarter to 1, but we were the only persons in the room. 1 o’clock and still no sign of the talk… We decided to go to OSA (Office of Student Affairs) to inquire about the seminar. We asked sir (geez I forgot to ask his name!) So anyway, we asked him about it and he was actually stunned to hear that there was supposed to be a talk. He checked the schedule of activities and you know what we saw?
Room M308, 1:00 - 2:20 pm
NOVEMBER 24, 2004
But it was all good. It was great cuz we haven’t bonded for like so long now. We’ve talked about so many things; like his view about this and my view about that. It just feels so… GREAT! It’s like a post monthsary celebration.
Haha! By the way… I’m thinking of moving to Xanga now. I dunno… I’m really not that sure, you know. I’m still fixing my site; I don’t like its color: Pink. Don’t get me wrong. I like pink, but I’m just really not into it when it comes to blogs and stuff like that.
Heyniwey… my sister’s gonna use the net so I’mma end this here now. Buy.

Jessica Alba Biography
Jessica Marie Alba (born April 28, 1981) is an American actress. She is known for her roles in Honey, Dark Angel, Sin City, Fantastic Four, Into the Blue and Idle Hands.
Alba was born in Pomona, California, to Mark Alba, who is Mexican American (though both of his parents were born in California), and Catherine (née Jensen), who has French and Danish ancestry; the two married while in their teenage years. Her maternal grandfather was a Marine NCO for 30 years, serving in the Pacific during WWII, and later as Asst. Drum Major for the United States Marine Band. Alba was raised in an Air Force family, along with her brother, Joshua (an actor who appeared with her in the season one finale of Dark Angel), and her grandparents, until she was seventeen years old. Her father's Air Force career took the family to Biloxi, Mississippi and Del Rio, Texas, before they settled back in California.
Alba's early life was marked by a multitude of physical maladies; she suffered collapsed lungs twice, had pneumonia 4-5 times a year, a burst appendix, and a cyst on her tonsils. This served to isolate her from other children at school because, as she claims, she was in the hospital so often that no one knew her well enough to befriend her.
She has also acknowledged suffering from obsessive-compulsive disorder during childhood. Her health improved, however, when her family moved to California.
Alba had expressed interest in acting since the age of five. She took her first acting class at age twelve, and an acting agent signed her nine months later.
Her first appearance on film was a small role in the 1994 feature Camp Nowhere as Gail. She was originally hired for two weeks but her role turned into a two-month job when the actress in one of the prominent roles dropped out.
Alba appeared in two national TV commercials for Nintendo and J.C. Penney as a child; she was later featured in several independent films. She branched out into TV in 1994 with a recurring role as the vain Jessica in three episodes of the Nickelodeon comedy series The Secret World of Alex Mack. She then performed the role of Maya in the first two seasons of the TV series Flipper. Under the tutelage of her lifeguard mother, Alba learned to swim before she could walk, and she was a PADI-certified scuba diver, skills which were put to use on the show, which was filmed in Australia.
