Phoebe Philo showed a selection of clothes and accessories that will begin arriving in Celine stores in late November. This is the first glimpse here of Ms. Philo’s designs for the Paris-based company since she was hired last year..She’ll have a runway show in the fall. Can not wait!

It's like being a rookie and playing with the pros.
But, she said the less professional looking the pictures, the better.
Thank Goodness, right?
When I was a Runner I won mostly because I Had The Heart. Not because I was the Better Runner.
A Wise Man once said that the Way to get Anywhere in Life is to Just Show Up! Since most People Won't even Do That.
So, I'm Showing Up, Playing Along and Hopefully Helping. All the above pictures were taken in my current home.

This beauty is a sneak peek from my Mom's home. I'll post her home next... She's the true decorating talent in the family.
Who Else has the Heart to send pictures of Your Vanity to Claudia for the Vanity for Humanity? E-mail her at theparisapartment@yahoo.com. Come play along with us. She needs 300 pictures by August. It doesn't have to be structured or perfect. It could be a close up of a few of your favorite items on your vanity. There is no right or wrong. Please let her know who sent ya.
I hope you enjoyed taking a little gander at my home today. Come back again. And, please be kind with your comments. I'm feeling a little nervous over here. Oh, I have to push that dang Publish Post Button Now...

Ice Cold Lemonade
Edited by Clutch 22
Compiling this week's round up of posts hit closer to home for me. I think we can all relate to the times where stress builds up and blocks inspiration. Reading each of these individually was the exact refreshment I needed (hence "lemonade"), especially with my birthday coming up next week - total outfit planning mode.
So what's in the mix? Alixrose and Decline Designs offer personal style inspirations, Fasshonaburu teaches us how to get our budget-shopping on at high-end boutique sales, hkShoeGeek talks harnesses and Fashion Consciou$ inspires by reviving the culottes trend (so cute on her).

So yesterday, I made a list on the hottest topics here in the Flips and my opinion on each of them.

I honestly don't know which is worse: Chris Brown's alleged assault on Rihanna or Hayden Kho's forty sex videos with forty different UNAWARE women. Yes, 40.
I wouldn't elaborate on Chris Brown's story cuz it's a tad too overrated. I seriously think that not hitting a woman should be a part of the Ten Commandments. Any guy who beats a woman is worse than that stupid A(H1N1) virus.
Going back to Hayden Kho…
I know this story is also overrated, but whatevs. I've read and heard a lot of opinion about this, all of them negative, and I just have to voice out my outlook on it.
One of the things that got me raising my eyebrow is how some girls still find him hot and would willingly have sex with him cuz, all of a sudden, he's very famous and that maybe sex with him is more thrilling and exciting. Okay, that's just plain gross. Come on, have you seen his peen? It looks like a kindergartener's! Who would want that? Haha. Okay, okay. Let's not get into that discussion. I mean, sure he's kind of good-looking with his nice body and fake butt, but, OMG he's a PIG! A complete ASSHOLE! -- Can I use that word online? Whatevs.
I can't believe that I'm going to say this but… Satan has finally met his match. Call me mean or over-judgmental, but what he did was pure evil. Cheating on your senior citizen girlfriend, having sex with forty other women, and taking videos of it without them knowing is a heinous crime that only a man with no heart and soul could commit.
I pity the women who have been involved in this scandal. I cannot imagine the amount of pain and humiliation that they're going through right now. Whoever leaked the videos and provided ecstasy to them should rot in hell with Hayden Kho.
But despite all that, there is STILL an advantage to this: It has saved a lot of women from experiencing this horrible crime. Stop acting like a whore and trying to get Hayden Kho inside your pants; believe me, it's not worth it.
I do hope we all learn something from this.

The pigs are finally fed up! They're tired of getting slaughtered and butchered just for the mere satisfaction of human cravings, that they're trying get back at us. Haha.
-- Sorry, that's just one of my little inside jokes.
Anyway…
I'm sure that all of us are aware of this issue. It's been the headline in all the news for almost a month now; and based on what I've heard, the Philippines has the highest rate of Swine Flu victims all over Asia.
I really can't say much about this topic cuz it's not something debatable or something that we should really fuss about. LOL. I think all of us would agree that the A(H1N1) Virus is an unwelcome guest that needs to be eradicated -- the school's campaign against flu is rubbing in on me. Haha.
All the necessary precautions have been uplifted and done; hospitals are giving free treatment to Swine Flu victims, schools are suspending classes, and suspected victims are undergoing self-quarantine. All that's left now is for us to be responsible enough in trying to avert ourselves from having this said virus.
P.S. My sincere condolences to the family of the 49-year old woman who died a few days ago cuz of this stupid virus. May she rest in peace.
P.P.S. Be safe everyone! :)

It's enough that he's called the "World's Greatest Fighter". I wouldn't have it any other way. I don't have anything against Manny Pacquaio. I just think that he should stick to his profession and focus on his business and family after retiring.
The "World's Greatest Politician Fighter" doesn't sound so good, does it?

As always, there is another issue, or rather problem, plaguing the Philippine government. This time it's the ConAss or the Constituent Assembly. Politicians are fighting whether they should or should not amend the Philippine Constitution. Uhm, excuse me for saying this, but the Philippines has bigger problems than that stupid ChaCha (Charter Change) replacement.
I don't understand why everyone is fussing over this petty issue. Just abort this stupid proposition and focus on more important issues like the Hayden Kho's 40 video scandals. I kid. What I'm trying to say is that this country is NOT going to change or prosper just by simply changing it from Democratic to Parliament. What this country needs is a new NEW and BETTER leader. Period.
I believe that this ConAss thing is yet another plot by that midget of a woman with a gargantuan mole on her face to prolong her reign as the president of this country. In other words, more time for her to carefully plan her way to dictatorship.
Gotta love FREEDOM OF SPEECH!!
To be honest with you guys, I used to be a GMA supporter. When she reinstated Former President Joseph Estrada I was thinking like, "Thank God, the Filipinos have finally come to their senses." I thought that she's exactly what this country needs: A mother, someone who has a soft heart and would immediately respond to the needs of her children. Boy, was I wrong. It's like the Marcos regime all over again - sans the Martial Law part.
I can't believe that a woman, a mother, is capable of sucking the life out of her children just for her personal gain. It makes me really sick.
TO PRESIDENT GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO:
I say this with all due respect: You should be ashamed of yourself. Take a good look at this country and see the effects of all the cons that you did. Mahiya naman po kayo. You were given ample time (more than 6 years) to make this country a better nation, but you failed. Terribly.
Stop trying to prolong your supremacy because I honestly can't imagine the state this country would be in if you are given another free reign. We all know what you're trying to do. We don't want another Ferdinand Marcos. It's time for you to step down and let someone with a good heart and good intention for this country take over.
P.S. Why don't you and Manny Pacquaio forget about politics and focus on your families? Have little quaint parties together, hot teas and biscuits. I bet it would be loads of fun! And while you're at it, why not try to invite Hayden Kho, too? Interesting, right?
Okaaaaay… I think I've said enough.
Will try to update soon loves.
Hugs :)
