I am a big fan of the jewelry from designer Tom Binns, the Belfast designer creates beautiful and fun statement pieces and has collaborated with the queen herself, Vivienne Westwoood, on his Punk Couture collection
Tom Binn
When I opened my bag, I saw this:
(So cute!)
Curious, I asked my Mum about it. Like what the hell is that warning and plate number all about?!
Apparently, there was this college student who got dragged by a cab cuz the driver doesn't want to give her money back. She paid him Php1000.00 and the meter only read Php75.00. The cabbie insisted that the girl only gave him Php60.00 and was demanding for more money. The girl (still in the cab) called her Mum for help, but the driver immediately sped down the highway and even threatened the girl that he would kill her. Scared for her life, the girl jumped out of the running cab, got dragged until she let go of the door.
My brother was able to watch that in the news and, obviously, he got really protective of her big sisters. He also gave Kam a note.
So sweet.
But hey, take note of the plate. Authorities haven't found the crazy cabbie yet.

And I'm not even in the mood to spill the beans.
It just sucks when you're like so excited over something major, something you've planned for weeks (even months!), until you receive the news that you have to cancel it cuz... hmm... let's say another commitment was made for something 'more important'... or better yet, cuz it doesn't sound so exciting anymore.
Ugh. Ugh. UGH!!!
Broken promises will never EVER be a hit.
I'm just so disappointed right now.
Really.

Nicholas wanted the collection to be bold and saturated in its colour, graphic, sharp in its lines, abstract in its shapes, aggressive yet very feminine and refined...and that's exactly what he achieved.
he has strong and fashionable woman like Carine Roitfeld, Cecilia Dean, Daphne Guinness when he creates his beautiful shoes.

No, I haven't watched Twilight yet.I wasn't able to buy tickets for the advance screening.
I have to wait till the 26th. Ugh.
I know it has reached more than $70M from the premiere alone, am I right?
But I still haven't read any EXCELLENT reviews about it. They're all like "so-so".
What the eff?!
But this made my day:

Los Angeles, CA November 22, 2008 — Summit Entertainment announced today that the studio is officially moving forward with the production of NEW MOON, the second installment of its filmed franchise TWILIGHT, the action-packed, modern day vampire love story. The movie will be based on the second novel in author Stephenie Meyer's Twilight series titled, New Moon. The first movie in the TWILIGHT franchise, the self-titled TWILIGHT, arrived in theaters this weekend to sold-out showings.
Stephenie Meyer stated, "I don't think any other author has had a more positive experience with the makers of her movie adaptation than I have had with Summit Entertainment. I'm thrilled to have the chance to work with them again on NEW MOON."
I can't wait for New Moon!!!

The best lovers are those who are capable of loving from a distance; far enough to allow the other person to grow, but never too far to feel the love within your being. To let go of someone doesn't mean you have to stop loving. It only means that you allow that person to find his own happiness without expecting him to come back. Letting go is not just setting the other person free, but it is also setting yourself free from all the bitterness, hatred, and anger that you keep in your heart.
Do not let the bitterness lure away your strength and weaken your faith, and never allow pain to dishearten you, but rather let it help you grow with wisdom in bearing it. You may find peace in just loving someone from a distance and not expecting anything in return. But be careful, for this can sustain but can never give enough room for you to grow. We can all survive with beautiful memories of the past, but real peace and happiness comes only with open acceptance of what reality is today.
There comes a time in our lives when we have a chance upon someone so nice and beautiful, and we just find ourselves getting so intensely attracted to that person. This feeling soon becomes a part of our everyday lives and eventually consumes our thoughts and actions. The sad part of it is we begin to realize that this person feels nothing more for us than just friendship. We start our desperate attempt to get noticed and be closer, but in the end, our efforts are still unrewarded and we end up being sorry for ourselves.
You don't have to forget someone you love. What you need to learn is how to accept the verdict of reality without being bitter or sorry for yourself. Believe me, you would be better off giving that dedication and love to someone more deserving. Don't let your heart run your life, but be sensible and let your mind speak for itself. Listen not only to your heart, but to reasons as well.
Always remember that if you lose someone today, it means that someone better is coming tomorrow. If you lose love, it doesn't mean that you failed in love. Cry, if you have to, but make sure that the tears wash away all the hurt and bitterness that the past has left you with. Let go of yesterday and love will find its way back to you. And when it does, pray that it may be the love that will stay and last a lifetime.

You may feel like you're at the top of the world today, like nothing could ever go wrong, and just fall down to the deepest fiery pits of Hades the next.
Right now, I feel terrible. It's like the Great Depression has fallen down on me.
I feel like I'm being burned at a stake, drinking an acid, getting trampled by raging bulls, and drowning at the deepest part of the ocean all at the same time.
And despite everything and everyone that has made me happy, I just want to cut them all out of my life.

I needed someone to talk to. Not someone who's just going to tell me how much of an arse I am.
Do you know how it feels like when you're surrounded by a lot of people, yet you still feel alone?
Like you need help badly, but no one's there to give it?
I'm so tired. I'm sick of it all. I feel terrible.
My heart just wants to explode.
Right now, it's seriously overflowing with pain and regret. And I seriously want to pierce it just to drain it from all the misery.
I feel like I'm the villain, but the truth is, I feel like every misfortune's coming at me from all sides.
There's nowhere to run and no one to turn to.
And after everything that has happened, it all comes down to this:
I'M THE BAD PERSON.

We're adults. Shouldn't we have a say on what we want to do with our lives? At this point we should be free to venture on different paths, try atypical activities, and discover new things because it's the only way for us to know what we truly want.
Don't blame us when we answer back because our natural teenage instincts overpower us. And the more you try to change our way of thinking and the more you try to avert us from what we want, the more we become rebellious.
But we also know what can make us happy.
PLEASE, grasp that.
Don't forget to smile! :)

Get a lesson in how to do sexy black makeup for your xmas party..
Get great makeup here!!

Well, to be honest, it's not that much of a big deal. Seriously. I mean, who am I to waste my time ranting about Rob, telling everyone that he isn't much of an Edward, yaddi, yaddi, yadda… It's not like I'm the book's author or the film's director. There would be 0% chance that I would be totally affected if the film would be a huge success or not.
Personally, Rob isn't my first choice for Edward Cullen's role. As a matter of fact, he's not even on my list! But Twilight aside, I think he's a good actor. All of us just have a different type of Edward in mind. I've watched the movie's spoilers and trailers and I think he's fine.
Now, about my "liking him" part -- don't you think like is such a strong word? You guys make it look like I like-like him… weird stuff right there. Haha! I can't say that I really "like" him. Sure, he's sexy and kind of good-looking in a bad-boy-slash-Ivy League way -- isn't that sort of contradicting? -- But it's really hard to explain.
So just to clear things up… my friends are shallow enough to mind my sudden "approval" of Rob's being Edward. That's all.

It's just that ever since I've seen the actors who would portray the characters in the book, I started seeing them as the characters themselves (Rob as Edward, Kristen as Bella, etc.). You get what I mean. And since all of us are head over heels in love with Edward Cullen, it's pretty darn hard to not like Rob.
I guess that's the reason why almost every girl loves Rob now. Cuz every time you read Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, or Breaking Dawn, whenever you see Edward's name, Rob's face pops into your mind. See what I mean?
So I guess that's it. You can't blame someone for having a broad imagination. Haha.

Hearts don't teach themselves how to feel the spark -- the mind does.
The heart pounds if there's something way deeper than what we rarely feel.
And if we are confused, we should let our minds decide;
cuz the heart does damage to one's life --
for it only sees the sole being that has made it beat faster.
Time passes so fast,
that people get things they don't normally get.
People live in this world to decide on things they truly care about.
It isn't the people who've made us feel special,
but the ones who have made us feel happy and wanted.
There's a big difference between those three.
Any person can make you feel special,
but there's a little number of people in this world who can make you feel happy.

Here's the line up for the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2008:

Doutzen, doutzen, doutzen...
Behati who? I don't think she's Victoria's Secret material. She lacks sex appeal. LOLOL. And OMG!!! Where's Jessica Stam and Natasha Poly?! When is Miss Bundchen planning to make her comeback?? I'm getting impatient here. Haha.
Karolina's looking kind of rotund, don't you think? Her arms are like mom-arms. No offense, I still love her. I just hope she slims down before the show.
Alessandra's looking oh-so-stunning as usual. I can't believe her body's back to… normal. I mean it's back to its pre-pregnancy figure. Whatevs. You get it, right?

Anyway, here are a few snippets of Ale with her baby, Anja Louise, and baby daddy, Jamie Mazur.

Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to introduce one of our country's hottest chicas…
