It's funny how most parents would still regard their adult sons/daughters as little kids. What's worse is they become much stricter as their children grow up! One wrong move and they'll treat you like a misbehaving child.
We're adults. Shouldn't we have a say on what we want to do with our lives? At this point we should be free to venture on different paths, try atypical activities, and discover new things because it's the only way for us to know what we truly want.
Don't blame us when we answer back because our natural teenage instincts overpower us. And the more you try to change our way of thinking and the more you try to avert us from what we want, the more we become rebellious.
