Welcome to Part two of my SocietyGirl Project spotlighting successful women today. I have had a privilege to work and have as a personal friend this amazing woman who is not only making a name for her self in the fashion industry but is changing the way that women dress here in our state of Utah. She is a Visionary Fashionista. known for her flawless taste in clothing, being a stylist to many known social lites in the night life of SLC, and every day women. She has added to her list of credentials owning a women's clothing store, "Fierezza" located in the SouthTowne Mall, Sandy Utah. Karen is the defenition class, elegance, and femininity. She sees fashion as an art form and her life and work is becoming a master piece, without a doubt she is a Society girl, and one of my favorite muses for her personal style not only does she poses everything the elite SocietyGirl has, she owns it!

Jonassaint is my second pick for this SocietyGirl project, recognizing opportunity in what she loves, and making her name in the fashion industry, Utah, and soon the world. she is a fearless leader, a strong woman, great friend and one of the most stylish ladies i know. here is a little insight to this amazing woman with a little mini interview we had, and some pictures reflecting her personal style, i hope you enjoy!

LB: what do you Love about Fashion?
KJ: I see fashion as art and I absolutely love anything that has to do with are and creating. You get to vision and create looks and at the end when it's all complete you get the same excitement as if u just finished a piece of art u have been working on for a while. You express how you feel through your clothing it kinda tells a story and resumes your personality. Whether you love to make an statement or hide in the crowd it all relates to your clothes and what u wear and that its what amazes me about fashion. You get to play characters one day you are a sexy kitten or just a cute little preppy girl with a sweater and bow in ur hair lol.
LB: what made you wanna be more involved and start your own buisness?
KJ: It came to a point in my life after I got married when I didnt want to be defined as a housewife. I always wanted to achieve more in life, and I have always been goal oriented. Due to the circumstances in the US I went thorugh I couldnt just go to school and finish like everyone else.. like any immigrant I had to work and little by little I drifted away from what I had imagine my life would be since I was 5yrs old. Anyway, after I got married my sister and I were at crossroads where I wanted to stay away from dead end jobds that where not fulfilling me and she needed a way to support her family, so in a casual dinner I brought up the idea and she backed me up with it along with our spouses and after 10 months here were are in our own business. To all of that I always had a need for a place that sells good quality clothing for affortable prices... I have always loved Arden B, Bebe, Guess, Marciano, Boston Proper. To me this big chains bring casual and contemporary clothing for WOMEN that looks and fits good, but the price was not cutting it for me and I know for many other girls like me as well, so I spotted the need in consumers and I decided to go ahead and bring the style I like at a great affortable price. I like to bring things that are different yet sometimes simple where u can accesories with really cool betls or chains.
LB: Who is your Fashion Icon?
KJ: My fashion Icon... That is a great question. I dont have just one person I look up to, but many. If I had to pick i woudl beJenifer Lopez and her sense of style she would be definately my #1 choice and someone who has inspired me since day 1. I rember when I was in High School I was 17 yrs old and she came out with her Jlo album and man ever since all her clothing choices and styles ALWAYS fit mine and what I like. I mean she can wear jeans and a really cool top to make a casual look feel so edgy yet age appropiate. All the dresses she wears , one shoulders or gold she always looks on point.
LB: What is your all time fashion trend that you see always repeating its self?
KJ: One shoulder dresses I cant stay away from them. I am they type of women who likes to dress like an elegant Goddess (for a lack of a better word) I am not saying I see myself as I guess I love anything that looks like it just came straight from ancient greece if that makes sense.
LB: What Piece cant you live with out?
KJ: Fun heels and jewlery to complete the outfit of course! :)
LB: Shoes what Shoes does every Fashionista Need???
KJ: A good pair of black heels is a MUST! The classic Stiletto or just a round toe black pump you can pull many outfits with those. I would also recommend to have a nude pair of peep toe heels or just close toe heel it must be nude! You have not idea how many things much with those. To me nude can be easily replaced by black. Especially for those tricky colors u do not really match with black bc stands out too much or maybe like a tricky green or strong colors. It is a good way to not be matchy matchy and settle the look a little bit.
LB: Favorite accessory and why?
KJ:I would have to say Earings. I love BIG chandelier earings or just funnky designs unique styles in earings. I just feel like that can really make a difference when wearing a plain top and u dont have a necklace to go with it u pull ur beautiful earings.
LB: Favorite Designer?
KJ:Right now I just recently felt in love with George Chakra, but Its not fair to pick just one I love Roberto Cavalli, Oscar de la Renta & of course Carolina Herrera as well.... Elegance and glomour. I LOVE them! Someone who I also really liked for being so bold and out there not being afraid and daring was Alexander Mcqueen he made such an impact in the fashion world and now that he is gone I hope he worked on enough pieces while alive so we can see more of his designs in the future.
LB: Favorite Season?
KJ: Wow! Really? I am a person of color so I would have to say Summer! As far as designs I couldnt pick just one Spring and Fall are the best! :)
LB: What does fashion Mean to you??
KJ: My fav quote by Yves Saint Laurent is Fashions fade style remains the same... and it is so true. That is actually the name of my blog and the reason why I love it so much is bc it relates to how I always see fashion in general. Fashion does not define your style. Style is unique and even though u can imitate someone its will never be u. its not who u are u will never know what to wear next... u never brake the mold, u never make an stament u are just another copy and that is it! U have to have ur own style and ur own personality and even if a trend fades u will always know what u like and what to go after. You wear the clothes the clothes dont wear u and that is why u always stay true to urself.
