J’MAR Printing Co.’s outing at the Kabayan Beach Resort at Laiya, San Juan, Batangas. I wasn’t supposed to come but Mum changed her mind at the last minute. So that’s just the greatest! She’s the best!
Moving on… I was at B’s place before 7 am; plenty of time to relax and all. Lol. I saw this huge bus when I arrived there… wait, buses are really huge, so whatever. So yeah, there was this bus and I really didn’t expect that we would be riding in that thing all the way to Batangas. Seriously, I haven’t ridden a bus since high school so I was really keyed up. Haha! Believe it or not, the bus was full. Really. Even the seats on the middle isle were occupied. But it was really fun. The entire trip wasn't a bore. We watched Kasal, Kasali, Kasalo and they also did some singing so… FUN, FUN, FUN!

We arrived there just in time for lunch. The cottages they've reserved were still occupied so we have to wait ‘till 2:30 pm. We just stayed in the kabanas near the beach. B and I were looking for some chikkas, unfortunately there weren’t any. So there… Tita M saw an eaglet. We don’t know where it came from. I mean, if it fell off its nest or whatever. Well, she nursed it back to health and it was really fun to watch. She was feeding it and was like taking care of it like it’s her own. Haha! But unfortunately, it died the next day cuz we left it under the sun for like hours while we were swimming. Poor thing… it was actually getting stronger: it started to open its eyes and stand up on its own. So it’s kind of sad when it died. We didn’t see that coming.
Okay, I really don’t wanna make this post detailed cuz that would take me a long time and I think this post would be really, really boring. We were 5 in the room. Tita V, Tito B, Y, B and I. We really didn’t bother about sleeping cuz we want to make the most out of our trip. The girls, except for me, went to the other cottage to watch PBB and play Bingo. I stayed in our cottage to play Tong-its with Tito B, Tito L, and B, with some background music courtesy of Tito J. Haha! Went to bed around 1 am, I think I was the only sleeping at that time (except for the kids). B and the others dozed at around 2 or 3 am, I think.
The next day… I think I overslept. Haha! I wasn’t able to see the sunrise. Woke up at around 8, ate breakfast, then went straight to the beach. Haha! B and I stayed there until lunch time. Can you just imagine what I look like now? Instead of being tan, I’m TOASTED. Haha! It’s ok though. It’s not all the time that I get to spend some time with B at the beach. So that’s cool with me. Rest for a bit after lunch and then we said bye-bye to Batangas…
