In 2002, Scandinavian designer Ann Wiberg , created Trash Couture. Trash - Couture recycles vintage materials into works of art. The label is a pioneer of environmentally conscious and ethical couture production. It was Trash - Couture , which opened Prêt - à - Porter last spring with a huge show to mark the launch of the Ethical Fashion, as fashion industry's key element for the future. Trash-Couture presents their collection bi-yearly at Pret-a-Porter.
Each creation is unique and created as a limited edition which include ball and bridal gowns and corsets. The entire collection is made out of silk, tulle, couture embroideries, and is decorated with vintage lace and semi-precious stones.
