ANTM is so back!

I still remember back when I was so hooked on it, and I even made it a point to always update my blog with the latest shiz. Speaking of past updates, I can’t find my past ANTM posts for some reasons. Oh well, I must’ve deleted them or something.

Anyhoo, ANTM’s back with its latest cycle, and I have to admit that although I’m loving this cycle, the girls now aren’t as high fashion as Cycle 15’s.

So without further ado, let me introduce to you the girls of ANTM Cycle 16.

Leave it to Tyra to come up with weird challenge ideas. For their first challenge, the girls will star in their first runway show showcasing Alexander Wang's designs. Uh-oh. We all know ANTM's runway challenges are out of this world. Think sky-high runway and huge arse pedestals. Crazy!

So what did Tyra do for this girls? Here's a clue: it's less dangerous but a hundred times humiliating. The girls will be walking on a 12-inch wide runway over water, inside a huge plastic bubble. Some girls especially Brittani rocked it, while others like Ondrei and Dominique pretty much took a little dip.


The girls also had their first photoshoot backstage before they come out of the runway. And here are the photos:

Molly won best photo, followed by Brittani

Angelia and Dominique were the bottom two.
In the end, Angelia was eliminated because the judges felt no emotional connection to her photo.


Episode 2: Bee-utiful

For their second challenge, the girls headed to Smashbox Studio to do a jewelry shoot with LIVE BEES. Other than Hannah who was crying nonstop, the girls did well.

Thank God for Hannah's tear ducts because it nabbed her the best photo.
Brittani came in second.

Jaclyn - Molly - Ondrei
Our dear Ondrei decided to quit because she didn't feel right being in the competition.

Dalya and Nicole were that week's bottom two.
Nicole was sent home because according to Tyra she "photographs old".


Episode 3: Alice in Wonderland meets Couture

This episode, the girls had to pose in groups in an Alice in Wonderland-inspired shoot, wearing fabulous couture gowns from famous designers.

Monique won best photo, but the judges told her to tone down her diva-ish attitude

Molly was second best photo

Sara was one of the bottom two contestants

Jaclyn - Dalya - Dominique
While Jaclyn and Dalya gave it their all, Dominique failed to deliver and was sent home.


Only 10 girls remain.
Who will be eliminated next?
