What better topic to talk about for my first Locker Room post, than a Locker Room. I'm talking about the locker room at your local fitness club. I happen to be a member of LA Fitness aka Dirty Fitness as so many of the members like to refer to it as. Personally I think it is a terrific nickname. When you can walk into the locker room and be greeted by such wonderful sights, such as a man covered in a gorgeous thick coat of black sweaty back, arm and stomach hair, taking a hand sanitizer/paper towel bath. When you have the privilege of going into a bathroom stall, and seeing bowel movement strategically placed on the floor in front of the toilet. When you have the ultimate treat of walking into a large gathering of men arguing over who actually took an unnamed females virginity, you are quite deserving of the nickname Dirty Fitness. A gym that not only has police cars with signs up outside telling you that over 70,000 dollars worth of personal items have been stolen since January 1st. But a gym that offers you the adventure of trying to not catch staph infections or herpes in the bathroom. Keep up the good work Dirty Fitness, for I have a date with the dirtiest gym in the world tomorrow after work...You know how I like em’ dirty.
